The following took place last week in Sweden, an hour from the captial of Stockholm:

An Italian man approached my grandfather outside a supermarket in Norrtalje. He claimed that he had a bunch of authentic Armani jackets worth a furtune which he couldn't bring back to Italy. The man explained to my grandfather, who's not supposed to be a very easily fooled man; that he had no space for the jackets since he had so much luggage.

The Italian man was going back to Italy in just a few hours and only wanted a little payment and so on my grandfather would be given 3 good looking jackets, claimed to be very expensive and popular.

First the man wanted several thousand Swedish crowns and that's about several hundred dollars for jackets, but later gave them away for an amount of 700 SEK (a little less than 70 US-dollars). They were supposed to cost 10 thousand dollars and 30 thousand in his home country.

Now that I (his granddaughter) have looked at the jackets, they are pretty good looking, but not so in style. There's one leather jacket and two others in sizes of L, XL. All the jackets have a tag on them, a black one saying: REPORTAGE R.G.A (and the Armani eagle over it) Certificato di autenticit.

One other thing I noticed was that these jackets are supposed to samples out of the "New collection of 2007-2008" which means that these are pure fake jackets. Be careful because the tags are very good looking, they look pretty authentic to me. Though, not to be forgotten is that if something seams to be too good to be true, it's normally not true either. (Swedish saying/idiom)

If someone has been scamed the same way in the Stockholm-area don't be afraid to write about it because this has to stop. These Italian men (or at least claiming they are) have developed a big scam sweeping through both Europe and the States. It has to stop.
If someone has trouble understanding this text in English just comment on it and I can take it in (hopfully) your mother tounge Swedish.
Alltsa, om nagon skulle ha rakat ut for samma sak som hande min farfar I Norrtalje, vanligen kommentera det har! Jackorna ar uppenbarligen inte akta.
