A similar situation happened in Norwalk...the same thing happened, an italian guy in a PT cruiser supposedly a rental and offered 7 jackets.
He said that his exposition went really good and only asked for the rental of the car....BEWARE do not buy... all these stories are too similar.
This is an Italian guy late 20's , early 30's driving a PT Cruiser claming to not wanna pay taxes at the airport so he sells these for cheap.
Yes, my man, as well as I gell for this. Unfortunately one does not make any research on it until its too late.

Same thing happened to me March 12, 2008 in New York City. Midtown, the guy pulls over in his SUV, and asked for directions to the Waldorf. Then wants to give me a "gift" of two jackets, if I buy one. The situation stunk, and I didn't need or want an Armani leather jacket, real, fake or otherwise.
Whats even more bizzare, the same thing happened to my friend in NYC on March 10, 2008, also in midtown.
I'm writing to warn New Yorkers this guy is out there.
