ITT-TECH Institute Fake Student Loans Lexington Kentucky

I graduated in March of 2010 from ITT.  It took me 4 yrs to find a job within my field of studies with NO Help at all from carrier services.  After being hired by my first job, I go to the school to get refresher courses and they barely had an Instructor to get any help from or to speak with.  To top it off, there was a "Wall of Fame" of previouse graduates and mine and many of my fellow students names on theses plaques.  The outrageous thing was, it was "MY" own company that I had owned for 13 years prior to enrolling.  They were taking the credit as if they were the reason I had this business.  I noticied it as they where trying to sucker another poor soul and I lost it, and asked them to take it down immediately.  The director said they'd do it that day and asked what I'd like to have it say.  I replyed the "TRUTH"!!!  Haven't been back to see if it's been removed.

The main reason for this post is that I noticed several people had spoken about being ripped off with bogus/Fraudulant loans. This past week I had a collection agency contact me, saying I owed and had been turned over to collection  for a loan. But this is the first I've ever heard or seen anything on this loan, I had recently been working with Navient/Sallie Mae and had gotten all my Fed and Private loans out of default so that I would be able to comply for ICRP (Income Contingent Repayment Plan), all aloans had to be current.  Now this company comes out of the blue stating I owe $8500.00 and this loan originated in April of 2010, I graduated in March 2010.  On my credit report there is no evidence of this loan either.

I did enroll in the bachelor program, but only had gone for the 1st week and dropped all courses, so that I wouldn't be charged. I made sure that I talked with the finacial aide dept and student relations that I was dropping out of the program.

When I orignally enrolled, I quallified for all of the Pale Grants that covered half of this enormass tuition. That as long as I complied with fed guidlines, maintained a certian grade point average, was a fulltime student, I didn't have to pay back the "GRANTS". So I'm not sure why my current balance with my Fed loans is over $35,000.00 and should be much less from the Grants I'd recieved.

I'm glad I graduated, and several years down the road it is somewhat paying off, but with no help from ITT's Carrier services! I wish I had gone to one of the local Tech school for half the cost and better equipment/programs with qualifed licensed instructors and Transferable credits.

What I am concerd with is all this talk of FRAUD on loans.  Anyone with something similar, please post! It cost way to much for what little we gained, to be a victim of fraud as well!!! Now that I see there are so many that ITT as done this way, I will diffently take a closer look into my situation!
