ITT Technical Inst.,(indy, 011 No Education Just a Big Bill For Nothing Indianapolis, Indiana

First, research your school by checking all reviews good and bad and know what their policies are for shortfalls in tuition that are not covered by gov't loans. Our son found out the hard way with no phone call from the financial dept. or any kind of financial arrangement to have a payment plan. He has been attending since Jan 2008. This ended as of June 2010. Grades have been above average; works a 40+ hour job.

Instead, he gets turned over to a debt collector and on top of not having a completed education, his credit is upside down. Immediately, they want to settle for $1,000.00 less than their so callled bill. First, they have to prove he even owes that ridiculous amt. This is not even reflecting the loans he has with Sallie Mae which he is now paying. It is absolutely in sane that this school doesn't have a legitimate way of communicating what is owed. It is true they will cancel appts. to go over the financials of what is owed and leave you hanging. In reading all the negativity, how can a school like this which is located all over the US, still be operating. They even had the nerve to call him and ask him if he is returning. It is all about the money.

We are looking for anwers to what action we can take and if others are experiencing the same financial rip offs from ITT Technical institute. We would like to see this "institute" called out or shut down for letting so many be hurt financially and receive a less than quality education.

Be smart & Stay away from ITT Tech!!! Their ads are a joke. Anything too good is just "too good" to be true. Go to a community college, at least you can pay as you go and credits are transferable.
