coming out of work today, July 22, 2008 on Union Turnpike, I was just about to get into my car when I was confronted by a man in his thirties. asked me if i spoke italian which i do and began his story. he seemed harmless and very convincing so i listened. He wanted to sell me 6 retrograde jackets leather and tan suede supposedly made by armani for 100.00 each. he told me he was in town for a show at the Javitz and had to go back to italy tonight-he showed me his airline ticket and his car rental keychain. He didn't want to take the jackets back with him because he would have to pay taxes. He was so convincing and i thought I was buying leather to find out it was some type of smelly vinyl. I was scammed. He even gave me a business card with his name his address. I can't believe the extent these conartists will go to to make a buck. shame on them
