Answered an online advertisement statinga free rial of Acai Cleanse 300 which was supoosedly recommended by Oprah! The ad stated that the product was a 14 day trial and I that was due was shipping of $5.95. That same day $5.95 was charged to my account in addition to two seperate $1.00 charges which were not authorized. The product arrived in a yellow envelope with a xeroxed sloppily cut ad which made me a little nervous (looked home-made). I called the number on the form to make sure that I would not be charged anything else and to make sure that the product was safe...the number was not a valid number and it simply kept saying that the person I was trying to reach could not be located. There was no automated sytem or prompt or voicemail of any kind. Approx. two weeks later, my account was charged $88.97 and a package arrived at my door two days from that. I refused the package and returned to sender. At this point I called the bank, cancelled my credit card and filed a commplaint with the bank. I received an e-mail from IWIN Herbal after I'm guessing they tried to debit my account and found it to be cancelled, they stated that my "membership" was now cancelled. Since, this tme my bank has made me try to deal with IWIN Herbal directly t try and resolve the issue. I have called the number (866) 440-7533 and which point I was told that there is no phone number for the billing department and I would have to e-mail them at support@acaicleanse300.com. After doing so, I one week later have still received no response despite more e-mails! When I call I'm told that it could take up to ten days and I'm given the runaround. I have been wronged by this company and am not reciving any help from my bank. I have been totally scammed and in a poor economy where every dollar counts, how can they get away with this!!!??? Someone please refer me to a source that can help me out.
