I was divorced in 1992 (the Final Closing date)
When divorced I received the documents stating that i pay a number of credit cards that we had together.
ONE of them being a Sears card with approx a 3,000.00 balance.

After many years of trying to work with Sears and having no luck cause my name wasnt on the card and they wouldnt talk to me OR tell me anything about it.
They closed the account .. writing it off.
UNTIL J R Christensen bought the account from them
finding this out from a person at Sears Credit
J R Christensen is continuing to HARASS me at work with saying i need to pay a 17,000. balance on this card,
MY X has faxed them the paperwork showing that I am responsible but someone here isnt getting the total picture.

Alexis has continued to call me non stop even after telling her there is no way I can get this money,
I do have the assets to get a 5,000.00 loan from my daughters offering to do it. But no way can we come up with this amount they are saying. WHERE did this huge balance come from.

A company trying to scam and make money for themselves as Sears have told me they no longer have this account or care about it.

They write them off for a purpose.
