J C FINANCIALS SKEPTICAL FROM BELLINGHAM WASHINGTON BUFFALO New York

Today I received a letter from J C FINANCIALS, claiming I had won a lottery in the second category from Consumer's Rewards Program Lottery held on May 16, 2008. A check for $3950 was enclosed made payable to me drawn on First State Bank in Hemphill Texas.
The letter instructed me to keep this award from public notice and to contact Ricardo Carrol or Michelle Goodson at 1-905-598-3437to assist in finalizing my claim. I called the number & was instructed to deposit this check and call them on Friday for further instructions.
I was suspicious immediately so I researched the company on the internet. I found that all this was a scam and my numbers were the same as others on the east coast. My (price) prize must be claimed by July 11, 2008.
My envelope and stamp were from Niagara, ON. Canada, Business address from Buffalo, NY and check from Hemphill Texas. Quite the extended company don't you think.

I am notifying all the appropriate authorities and media. Protect yourself if unsure have your bank or police dept. check out the legitimacy of the check and company.
