Jack Dawson threaten jail, $450.00, court, $10,000 to $12,000, client Cash Advance USA, Internet

    Recieve phone call from him, stating that I had received a cash advance of $450.00 and that if I don't pay, then they are going to take me to court, in New York, and I would then have to pay them between $10 to $12 thousand dollars. I tried to explain that I never received $450.00 from Cash Advance USA.

    I requested a copy showing where I had signed for this money. They would not produce this information until I payed them the full amount.  I told them I never received this money and I was not going to pay it. They threatened to send me to jail.

I told them they could not, because they need to show me proof before I am going to send them any money. He then said that he was going to proceed and call 911 and have me locked up. I am an over-the-road truck driver.

I asked Mr. Dawson, which he claims he is a lawyer, what Law Firm does he work for. He told me the Goldstein Law Firm, in Los Angeles, CA. I looked up the law firm and called to find out if he did indeed work there. They said he did not. I called Goldstein Law Group and they reported the same thing, he did not work there.

I look at the State Bar of California to see if they had any record of a Jack Dawson as being an attorney in California and they had no record either. I called back to talk to Mr. Dawson and he was not there. Left message and he has not called back. I know there are people scamming people and need to have this checked into. Thanks
