Jack Lalanne Power Juicer Ripoff advertising Belmont Wisconsin

March 2009 I ordered the 'Jack Lalanne Power Juicer' that they were advertising @ the time on T.V. I told the representative of this company that I would like to order the power juicer being advertised on T.V. (the white one - cheaper one). He started to take my order and said that because of Jack Lalanne's "90th" birthday that I would get an additional discount of $49.99 making my price for the power juicer only $49.99 plus shipping/handling costs of $9.99. I agreed and then he asked if I would like to 'speed up' my delivery with an additional cost of $9.99. I agreed for the additional shipping cost as it was for my daughter's birthday on April 5, 2009.

My complaint is this: They sent me two (2) power juicers - charging my credit card for a total of $194.76!! I called two (2) weeks after receiving the power-juicer to ask them "Why?" did they send two (2) when I specifically said: "I only want the one (1) - white one - the cheaper one! They told me THEN, that the 'cheaper' one was a "refurbished" one and the other one was the more expensive one.

#1. Why would I want a "refurbished"??? juicer for my daughter's B'day and #2. In the commercial - The white one - cheaper one was NEVER advertised as REFURBISHED!! I've called four (4X) previous for a refund on both units along with shipping to & from but they kept putting me off saying they have to get the "tape" of our conversation which is in "India" - right away when I heard this I told them it was a SCAM if they have to get their tapes from India!! Now, my fifth (5X) calling today-to continue to pursue a refund on shipping costs with my return they're saying: I'm past the '60' Days and can't return it at all!! I'm still pursuing this and Dawnette said her supervisor would call me at work in 5-7 Days (July 8th - 10th) after they 'pull' the tape again to review! I told her that I WILL be reporting this to the Consumer's Better Business Bureau amongst other places: Channel 27 News and if I can find Jack Lalanne's personal web-site - there too!!
