Jack Wilson, Freelance Video Editor: vimeo.com/jackwilsonvideo

You ask for projects and I gave it to you. Even when you were not FAA licensed at the time, I
gave you an opportunity with a golf event to help build your drone portfolio. You did a 'debate video',
got paid and failed to give me the raw files. Thinking that you were trustworthy I will get it when I get it
and never did. You held the files in case I decided to get another editor. That's what I call keeping my content
and files hostage.

You asked for a drone gig even though you were not licensed I trusted you and gave you another golf event that
featured the who's who of a major city. You committed and planned on doing it but the week of the event, all of a
sudden your equipment did not work. You had plenty of time to plan and prepare but left me with no choice
and accept your backup freelancer.

I told you a budget and my requirements. She came back with a new invoice and an increase in budget!
Not only did your freelancer charge me more but she did not film the content I wanted. Knowing that I would
pay you after the video was completed (which is how we work previously), I needed the input from my client.
I tried to do the best I can with the limited content that your freelancer provided so after some time, I paid you a
portion of the invoice and would pay in installments, which I did. I still was not able to make the customer happy
with the product due to the missing content that they orginally wanted. The project was not done, the content was
not delivered, the customer needed to provide feedback based on what we had and you went off book and decided to get
emotionally charged. You cursed at me, you threatened to file a complaint BUT you did not take any responsibility that neither
YOU or your freelancer provided the service and content that we initially discussed. Jack Wilson, you need to take responsibility
for NOT delivering what we initially discussed.

As far as our history, you have used me to help you build a diverse portfolio. From utilizing a Class A building to do your photoshoot and video time-lapse,
to having the opportunity to hold responsibilities as editor/director to a docu-drama type show, to introducing you to my network, feeding you on so many occassions because you had a tight budget, driving you for our meetingss because for whatever reason you can't get a license (at that time). You knew quite well what I have done for you and I know (well at least I thought I did) who you were with your past.

My biggest mistake is to put my trust into a student from Essex County College who have NO business conducting any business without a contract.
The moment you get called out from dropping the ball and not delivering, you get emotional and decide to take it out and file a 'complaint'?!
Btw, I was told that your freelancer refunded you the money but you decided to keep the money I sent you. Who's scamming who?!
Beware of Jack Wilson, an opportunist and rip-off artist. Make sure he is put on a contract to keep him honest.

Addressing Shane AKA Jack Wilson regarding his math on where the money went!

AUTHOR: ezra - (United States)

Jack, you are not out of $100, I am! I paid you more then you should have gotten for an incomplete project. Your freelancer Chantel decided to do her own drone video rather then doing what the client requested and she was trying to pass it off as if it was completed. How do you resolve this if you were the one who posted this online with a Pseudonym rather then addressing this face-to-face. You say you did not want to be associated with me but you are quick to use my resources and jump at the opportunity to get credit as Director & Editor for a failed promo (not our fault) and you listed me as the Executive Producer. Jack, at the end of the day you should have been the one to film that project because you requested that project and you have worked with a similar venue and know the people involved. Take responsibility for your actions and just maybe, this can be resolved.

Jack Wilson who goes by the Pseudonym Shane finally admits to internet thuggery and keyboard bullying tactics!

AUTHOR: ezra - (United States)

Shane or should I say Jack Wilson, it was unnecessary for you to start these internet threads. You know full well that I would respond soon enough. I need to be able to defend myself when you are portraying a one sided account in your response. Whether you are half my age or older, you need to take responsibility for your actions and take accountability for what you do. As for the money, I am not seeking a refund but was pointing out that money was sent even though the project was not completed due to under performance and the lack of correct content. Also, like we did for the debate you were paid-in-full when the project was done. However, when you were paid I still did not receive any of the files and/or the content for this project has been taken down. Originally, the project and the opportunity I gave you on and how we met was a redemption theme. You, myself, the subject and part of the team shared this aspect and essence of the story. You are quick to point out my past but you are not at all denying your colored past yourself. When things don't work out as I/we originally wanted, you go off on the rails and start blasting my past anonymously to purposely hurt and discredit me. You may see the humor in the back-and-forth but what I see is wasted time and people hurt. Hopefully in your future you find peace and comfort to whatever it is you are doing and try to maintain a sensible and level-headed approach when dealing with conflicts.

More insults... and I’m the keyboard thug?

AUTHOR: Jack - (United States)

Ezra, I paid $400 to Chantel, and received a $300 refund from her. Therefore, I am out $100. You feel as though you are owed this $100, and I have offered numerous times to pay it back. Clearly you do not want to resolve anything, and it is in your favor to continue writing these emotionally-charged responses and insulting someone half your age. As well as on your other rip-off report to Chantel. I wrote under the name "Shane” because I did not want my name associated with you. And also because it’s a "shame” that you wasted my time. Gotta love the humor in all of this. You can continue calling me a rip-off artist yet only one of us has the criminal records to prove their guilt. And it’s sure not me. I’m done responding to your trolling.

Keyboard Thug Shane AKA Jack Wilson Rip-Off-Artist Video Editor at Andrea Mitchell Digital

AUTHOR: ezra - (United States)

Jack, that is 25% more then you should have gotten due to your freelancer failing to capture the correct content as well as complete the project. You asked for the project and I told you there was not much of a budget and you agreed! You found someone else to do the job for you because your equipment failed.

Since you say you sent $100 to Chantel, you kept the money but did nothing else in return. So basically you are in the business to collect money for work not completed and not taking any responsibility for your actions. You act like you are a big shot but still can keep the money and do with it as you please knowing full well you did not complete the work.

You still did not give me my debate files that I paid for? Why is that? Where is my drone project that you took down because you did not get your way but using it for your benefit?! You are in the business of taking and taking but not taking responsibility for this and the above. Get over yourself Mr. Rip Off Artist!

Your only rebuttal is to bring up articles that go back 10 yrs just to make yourself feel special. You like to make subject lines when you have a very colorful past yourself. This is not a revenge report but merely a way to defend myself when you hide behind your alter ego named Shane to try and discredit me under this pseudonym. You are an opportunistic and emotionally unstable freelancer who when their feelings get hurt resort to internet bullying tactics under a fictitious name. You need to grow up Jack Wilson and start taking responsibility for your actions or lack thereof!

Truly a one-sided story.

AUTHOR: Jack - (United States)

Ezra, I am not harassing or asking for any money, I am stating my side of the story and offered to pay you back any money you paid me even though it was time that you booked. You still want to drag this out, why? Again, I don’t have the files for the drone video because I didn’t shoot or edit it. I don’t have files for the debate video because it was shot a year ago. The only person defaming is you, making false statements about me being a rip off artist along other insults. I never knew about your criminal background and never worked with people with a "colorful” background before meeting you. In your words, you had promised to pay installations week to week for the drone video: "Have not heard back re: updates however I will sending you some money week2week until we are square" 3 months later, I sent two follow up texts to remind you to which I finally heard that you did not think the project was complete. Hardly harassment if you ask me. And no, I did not know perfectly well that the project was incomplete. If you had communicated this earlier and not gone back on your promise, I wouldn’t have been so surprised, but you can see why this might have been frustrating. Do you want to keep going back and forth, or do you want to resolve this like adults?

LOL coming from a guy involved in a $4M mortgage scheme.

AUTHOR: Jack - (United States)

Claiming I am a rip-off artist is ironic. You paid two $50 installments both of which I sent to Chantel. Sadly, this was the only payment she received from you for several days of work. Much less than what you were quoted. Saying you did not get the content yet you were there to supervise makes it your fault. Next time, hire a professional director. I did not keep any money, and I have receipts to back my statement. Clearly, you are writing this "revenge” complaint out of anger. Let your criminal reputation of fraud speak for you instead of your hypocritical claims aimed at disparaging someone half your age: nj.com/news/index.ssf/2008/03/four_men_and_one_woman.html

Jack Wilson, Keyboard Thug, Internet Bully of Montclair NJ, Essex County College, Rip Off Artist and OPPORTUNIST who used my network, took the money and ran!

AUTHOR: ezra - (United States)

Jack,   Stop harassing me and forcing me to pay-in-full for work that is INCOMPLETE and needs much editing.
It is not what you want the final end product to be but it is what the client wants! I was trying to make the
project work based on the lack of content that your freelancer took and need these shots to be edited,
incorporated and approved.   Jack, if you stuck with the above and be a professional, things may be different. However due to your immaturity
and emotional instability, you resorted to internet bullying tactics and hiding behind a keyboard by posting
reports anonymously that have a one sided account. Since you took it to this level and made it personal, below is
my response to your inaccurate and one sided posting, Shane aka Jack Wilson Video Editor at Andrea Mitchell Digital:    https://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ezra-lustado/caldwell-new-jersey-07006/ezra-lustado-manipulator-and-scam-artist-caldwell-new-jersey-1410546    a. You keep saying we are friends but clearly we are not do to your emotional instability and lack of professionalism
by finding the need to go online to try to defame me with a one-sided account. Let's be clear here, you know very well
that the online articles of me in 2008 was very old news and you were aware since our meeting from the beginning.
You decided to use and bring that up because you do not want to take responsibility for your actions and dropping the
ball on the drone project which YOU wanted to add to your portfolio. You yourself are not at all innocent of your past as
well as you working with people who have very colorful backgrounds. The sad thing is, when you are confronted that YOU
dropped the ball on the drone project and then YOUR freelancer DID NOT follow the budget and more importantly went
rogue by NOT following the instructions when filming the content; you became emotionally unhinged and thought
it was ok to keep harassing me for payment when YOU knew perfectly well that the project was not completed.
Why don't you take responsibility? Why do you resort on being a keyboard bully?!   b. I gave you a debate film project from a major city of which you could never have gotten if it were not for me and my network.
You wanted the content and more importantly the opportunity to add this to your portfolio so you can use it to get additional work.
The point here is you were paid BUT where are my files? It is very easy to type online to say that you are not the kind of person to hold
footage hostage but to date YOU still have NOT given me my files for a project that was COMPLETED and PAID-IN-FULL. Now you are saying
you do not recall what happened to the files...you took the money, lost the files and ran!   c. I never reached out to you for the drone projects Jack. You called me up one day all excited and said you just purchased a
drone and wanted to see if I can find you projects that you can film, edit and produce. What did I do, I found you an event through
my network that covered exactly what you wanted and you were GIVEN the OPPORTUNITY to ADD this to your portfolio. So YES of course,
you film, you edit, you participate for a good cause and produce the video for your benefit. Where are my files that I can use?!  After this you asked for another project why, because you did not have anything else going for yourself until you found yourself
working more consistently as a sub-contractor for Andrea Mitchell Digital. A month or two before the event, I asked you if you had the time to
to do the work and you kept telling me yes you did until all of a sudden the week of the event, your equipment failed. Your solution is to recommend
me one of your freelancers to do the work which we had the experience of her over charging before on a potential photography project.
I trusted your recommendation given the last minute circumstance you put me in with my client.   So before you recommended her the work you discussed with her the budget and details of the project from the length to the style, etc.
(to mirror a similar project you did for me). In addition, I sent her and ccd  you an email, listing what the tasks were and what shots were needed.
The day of the event, we went over the tasks and I made sure she met key individuals so she knows who and what to film. I was specific and direct
because this video is a promotional video. This was such a simple project and the results were:  she over billed me, she missed key people, she then had the audacity to try and speak to my client direct because after reviewing the initial pre-produced video; it was very hard for me to get them to send me feedback.   At this point and at this time, the video is NOT COMPLETED and yet you harass me to get paid-in-full. Take responsibility for your actions!   d. I am addressing this now Jack Wilson because you and your keyboard thuggery under the assumed name Shane (hiding your TRUE IDENTITY) is trying to discredit me by posting a one sided attack. Since you were refunded the money by your freelancer, the money I sent you, you pocketed for yourself. So YES, YOU RIPPED ME OFF! You failed miserably by not fulfilling your job and now you are resorting to online bullying tactics.   e. You talk a big game by saying nothing we worked on is worth putting on your portfolio. But your email below shows how much of an opportunist you are
since the beginning:   Jack Wilson
9/16/16   Hi Ezra, Thank you again for giving me a copy of Bloodcaine yesterday. I actually ended up reading the whole thing yesterday- it was that great!
It's funny, that short film I was telling you I worked on we used my dad's gold 1971 Buick Riviera (not a convertible '83 but close enough)!   I was telling my Uber driver today all about it and gave him the flyer. Definitely let me know about that party you mentioned you were hosting,
I would love to make it.   I still stand by my word that I will do any video work for free for you guys. Even if just an interview, it would be a great opportunity.   Here is a sample of my work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wOMMCZa9vY   Look forward to hearing back from you!   Jack Wilson
Cinematographer & Producer 609.613.2699
jackwilsonvideo.com   f. With all your big talk, what client did I work with behind your back? You introduced me to one client and then had the audacity to ask me if you can film that client through my network using a Class A building. What did I do, I went to my network and you were granted access to the building to shoot photography and film a time lapse video on multiple occassions for FREE. Jack you were a hungry artist and I gave you multiple opportunities to build your portfolio, fed you at restaurants, bought you 'stale sushi'from the supermarket, invited you and your girlfriend to a private party to eat, dine and drink that you gladly accepted. You are ungrateful and lack the integrity to do any kind of meaningful work.   You moved on to better things by riding on someone else's coat-tails. You used me to help legitimize you on various different project work. You used my network for your gain. Throughout this entire process, you still have not taken any responsibility for your failure to produce and more importantly your internet bullying tactics.   You know what for sometime, I did not want to respond to your initial online report when you called yourself Shane and cowardly typed away to try and discredit me. But enough-is-enough, I need to take a stand and defend myself to people/keyboard thugs like you.   Beware of Jack Wilson who is emotionally unstable and acts tough behind a computer. Put him on a contract even if it means paying extra. My mistake is not to put him on contract when I hired him initially, trusted an opportunist who has no morality and will discredit you if you call him out on his poor performance. He thinks he is clever by using your weakness or any dirt he may have on you to make himself look innocent by posting a one-sided report to discredit you.   What he fails to realize and understand is that once online, forever online!

#8 REBUTTAL Individual responds

Ezra Lustado, involved in $4M mortgage fraud... and I'm a ripoff artist? Ha.

AUTHOR: Jack - (United States)

Ezra,

You gave me one paid project which I did for half of my typical rate because I thought we were friends. I did the golf course drone shoot and edit for free, which means you don't need an FAA Part 107 waiver if there is no payment involved. I can't recall what happened with the debate files but I gladly gave you the footage for the Kickstarter shoot. I'm not the kind of person to hold footage hostage unless there is an issue of nonpayment.

You reached out to me regarding the drone gig. Yes, my equipment failed to work the week of the shoot. My solution was I gave you someone with more experience than me and FAA licensed.

My drone operator agreed to the $400 you budgeted for. She mistakenly charged additional for expendables such as transportation (which I told her was not okay). The other overages came with exceeding whatever you guys agreed on for revision rounds in post production. I was not always copied in on your discussions and agreements so I have no idea what was agreed upon.

You were the producer of that shoot therefore you assume responsibility if there was a lack of content when your job was to supervise/direct. That's how it works in production. It was not my responsibility for what happened on set because you didn't budget for me to be there.

As far as post-production, I was not a liason between you and her so I only heard things from the both of you second-hand. This was a waste of time for us all but this happened a year ago. You feel like it's still worth going on about because you think you lost $100 in the proces, when in reality that was only 25% of what you had agreed to pay my colleague for her time spent shooting and editing.

Who used who? I advised you on putting together a business model for a production company, I introduced you to my colleagues, had numerous meetings with you regarding your ventures. I even came up with the name for your production company. I pulled favors, and produced/directed/edited a free kickstarter video for a project you asked me to work on.

Let me be clear, nothing we worked on is worthy to be on my portfolio. For all of the time spent working on your ventures, yes, you let me utilize a space for a my freelance shoot. Then you started working with that client behind my back. The Kickstarter and then the docu-drama project was abandoned because of your falling out with the talent. Great opportunity, right? In return for free editing sessions, you brought over stale sushi from the supermarket.

You claim that I took the money and ran, yet I have included PayPal receipts proving of my payment to my colleague. I initially paid her the full $400 rate in advance a a sign of a good faith, then recouped that with two measly $50 payments you made once a month - which was the last straw for me after everything I did for you. She then paid me back $300 because she felt sorry for me. This was the thanks I get, after believing in your big talk for the better part of a year, after introducing you to my contacts, working on your projects for free or no cost. Good thing I moved on to better things. Unfortunately you didn't, you have plenty of time to disparage someone half your age inbetween driving for Uber. Over $100 you think you're owed. Times must be tough. I'll gladly pay that if it means you'll keep my name out of your mouth.

Let's not forget who the real scam artist is before you start accusing me:
