I bought two power adapters for my Apple Pismo Powerbook on eBay. They were described as "NEW AC Adapter for Apple PowerBook Lombard Pismo".
It took two weeks to receive them and they turned out to be for the newer PowerBooks. I sent the following email:
Dear briteonpower,
Hi: The power adapters for the Lombard & Pismo powerbooks requirethe outside diameter of the plug to be 3/8". The ones I received are for the newer powerbook and is just under 5/16". The ones I received have "JP-65-A2" on the boxes. The ones I received arenvvwhite and the ones pictured on eBay are black. I don't cre what
color they ar, I just need ones that will work with my Pismo powerbook. What do we do now?

After several emails back and forth, they agreed that the listing was wrong. I was told to mail them back with a letter stating the problem. I ask for a RMA and was told I didn't need one.
I was upset that I had to pay to return them when it was their error on the eBay listing. I sent them back priority mail with a cover letter and copies of all the emails.
Each week I would email about the status of my replacements. Each time I was told they receive returns every day and it takes a while to go through them all. But they would give me a discount if I ordered new power adapters.
Once the time to leave feedback on eBay had expired, they no longer answered my emails.
Beware of Jacobs Parts! Even after they admitted the eBay listing was incorrect, they kept the listing up until it expired 10 days later.
On their website they say: What Makes JacobsParts Better is Better Service, Better Product, Better Price, Better Company.
It should read: JacobsParts is Bad Service, Wrong Products, Extra Charges, Bad Company.
