Jacobsen Books Valerie and Paul Jacobsen Stopped paying for books they took to sell on consignment , Internet

Two and a half years ago I had to move from my home, and could not take my personal library of 1000 books with me. After taking out an ad on Craigslist, I was contacted by Valerie Jacobsen, who offered to sell my books on consignment, her keeping 60% of the fees. I agreed, and she and her children showed up at my home and packed her van and car with books.

A few days later, she said she "couldn't sell" some of the books and discarded them. She didn't tell me which books those were.

A few months later, I e-mailed her regarding payment for books sold. I learned that I would have to wait six month (they pay quarterly, and they give people 30 days to return books). I received two, maybe three paltry payments, then never heard from them again.

Here it is, over a year later, and they refuse to return my e-mails. Heck, this "business" doesn't even have an answering machine.

I requested my books back, and they refuse to give them to me. If they aren't going to sell them, I want them back. If some sold, I want payment.
