If you sit for a portrait, don't be surprised if your image shows up on her website... And she will not ask your permission, inform you in advance, or obtain a model release form. It happened to me and I only found out when a friend of mine in the ARMY emailed me my image as he had found it on the web. I have no idea how many people have viewed or downloaded my image, an image that should not have been put on a website without my permission. When I complained she acted like she did nothing wrong, said she "guessed" she should have asked me and others before using our images...
What an unprofessional operation...
After I complained, the portrtaits that she said she would touch up were delivered in their original condition. If you complain, you can forget about the promised services. I had already paid, and I didn't want to deal with her ever again so I took my "professional portraits" and I will live with lessons learned

As the owner of Artistic Images by Jael Photography, I happened to notice this report filed six months ago, and I simply wanted to state that this information is false: the individual who filed the complaint actually did sign a model release before leaving my studio (of which I have a copy), and also was not promised enhanced images. These images were part of a fund-raiser for a local charity. Since proceeds were going to the charity, and products were offered at significantly discounted rates, extensive enhancements would only be provided at an additional charge.
If you are a client of ours, or are considering us for the future, feel free to contact me by phone or email with any questions or comments about our policies. It is unfortunate that this consumer failed to read the release that they signed, and consequently in trying to raise money for a good cause, I opened the door for a personal attack. Thank you for your consideration.
