Jake Sharp w/ Marqi Merchant Consulting Marqi Merchant Consulting He lied! Don't trust this guy. Renton, Washington

Marqi Merchant Consulting is a sham!  Jake Sharp, Regional Vice President told us that he could save us money.  Jake is a liar!  He told us that our merchant machine fee would be 199.99 a month and .08 cents per transaction after that.  "No other fees, that's it"  Not only is that not it but the fees are ridiculous.  My first bill was $217.15 which came out only ten days after we had the system set up.  The next bill came at the end of the month for $263.55.  I called the merchant company to ask what this was for and they said "this is a total of your monthly merchant fees."  Of course I told them that made no since because I am only being charged .08 cents per transaction.  They then told me that there is also a basis points fee, interchange fee, surcharge fees and so on.  Enough fees to make your head spin!  When I first signed up for this, I of course asked Jake how it was possible for them to be so inexpensive, he replied that they were global and that no one could compete with them.  I can not tell you enough how much this guy has lied, and of course he won't return our phone calls.  When I went over the contract with Jake before signing and showed him our concerns and his words were "that doesn't apply to you."  Now, North American Bank Card, the company that Jake sent our contract to for processing, tells us that we signed it and that they don't know anything about the business practices of Marqi Merchant Consulting or Jake Sharp.  I hope this will help someone out there, it would have been helpful for me.  All I can say is "Karma will get you Jake Sharp!"
