James Bares Santa Fe Texas

 James Bares was recommended by a neighbor who works with his mother. We needed some work done in our house remodel bathroom paint entire inside of house and refinish wood floors. He tore out bathroom said all plumbing had to be replace, cut a hole in the living room floor and then walked off the job after having been paid over $6000.00. Left us with no bathroom, no plumbing in the entire house and the hole in the floor. Would not return any phone calls. He would find problems and need extra money. He would only work 3 hours a day and 3 days a week. The neighbors said most of that time, he was on the front porch smoking cigarettes. He wanted to tear out all of my hardwood floors saying they were totally rotten. He said he could have them totally redone for $1,500. I told him not to touch the floor, and he packed his stuff and left with nothing completed.
