I am writing this report because I am upset with how James Brinker handled the situation. It all started when I noticed he had posted a Gif/pic onto his Instagram. The Gif was about entrepreneurial thinking. James Brinker of Brinker Media Group found this gif/photo online and downloaded it. He then went and cut out the part giving credit to the originial creator, and he went ahead and added his own watermark on the gif/photo stating "Follow @jamesbrinker".

I noticed the picture looked similar to another infographic that I seen online, and decided to comment on his post asking him "did you make this pic or just add your own watermark?" ~~ my thought process behind making this comment was to give James Brinker the ability to rightfully give credit to the creator of the pic/gif. Instead of doing what was right, he simply responded with "I made it". At this point I realized that he is outright stealing content, and lied by saying that he created the content himself.

Let me also point out that the Niche that james brinker opperates in is the "Entrepreneurial" niche. He runs his own YouTube channel detailing how to grow your business, make sales, grow your social media, etc. He comes across as an expert in this field, yet could not take .5 seconds to give credit to the creator of the image.

It took me less than 30 seconds to find out who created the original infographic pic/gif.

I decided to professionally DM James Brinker and let him know that I was dissappointed in him stealing the image and claiming it as his own, and then using it to gain followers.

After making it clear to him that I know he stole the image, and then asking him why he would do so he tells me that he "doesn't have time for this" and proceeds to block me.

My gripe with James Brinker and Brinker Media Group is that James Brinker himself along with others run their company which was filed as an LLC back in 1/11/2018 is that he brands himself as an expert and offers social media marketing services to other organizations, yet for his own (which he should hold to the same standard) he loosely steals images from other companies, cuts out their branding which details who created it, and then in turn claims he created it.

James Brinker, You offer social media marketing services to large companies, you also sell courses, offer paid training, etc - all based around social media, marketing, etc. How can you be so low as to steal an image and brand it as your own and then outright lie and say you made it? That is unprofessional.
