First Federal of Northern Michigan Lies & Likely Fraud Alpena Michigan

 My Mother died in February of 2014 leaving a Small Home Equity Line of Credit balance to pay ($3,805.41).

Repeated contact was made with Firth Federal reps. who said over and over that I nor any Family member nor ANYONE could pay on OR pay off the balance due.  Cash pay off was offered, also EFT & share darft/check.   No type of payment was satisifactory.   Contact with approximately 23 Attorneys in four states indicated that the bank is probably up to something sneaky.    Thier REFUSAL of Cash was most suspicious.    As it turns out almost ANYONE can make payments on such a loan.  The repeated lies from First Federal Reps has caused a delay due to researching these deceptions.   Even though the payemnt are now current and set to be paid off very soon...The Slimey ba$tards have employed what I call a lecherous lap dog.  I believe they are trying to make a HUGE profit on an attempted foreclosure.  And even if they diont succeed, the extra court and legal expenses are still quite a bit of thievery.    I intend to put this report on youtube with all supoorting documentation & recording.    Hopefully this dishonest manner of doing business will stop.   Hopefully no one flies a plane into THIER building.
