Long story. This felon, James Hart Stern, AKA Akeem Reinsfield, contacted me after I posted on ripoffreport.com that I wasn't paid for publishing by a man who was supposed to be in the publishing business, named Andy Broadaway - who really didn't have a legal business. So, when he contacted me, he immediately asked for favors - did I have files for his book, could I do the artwork to republish the book from new material, could I give him $10,000 to improve the rapport between the various races for his Racial Reconciliation Outreach Ministry - he said he would provide documentation and land rights to some land he got in a quick claim deed (which happens to be contested) in Mississippi.

About that time, at 71 years old, I had a minor heart attack, and when I came back from the hospital - he said he would pay to get his book created. We sent him and estimate which he approved, and he owes us some money, which he claimed he'd pay before April ... and he never did. I wrote to him and he said it would definitely be paid before April. Besides being a felon who was in a Mississippi State prison he presented a manuscript with typesetting to be done and a cover to be made. To protect our rights, as artists (www.3daybookformatting.com, a Mexican company owned by my sister in law) we filed copyright as we didn't trust him.

After coming out of the hospital he again begged $10,000 which I would not and could not pay, and my family refused to allow him to speak to me in my crush health condition, and of course, he never paid. Then he send documents that he was suing Mr. Andy Broadaway and had an arrest warrant issued for Mr. Broadaway, who also has a background in thievery, and he sued Amazon for $400 million dollars for selling his book. I've read a lot about this man, his time in prison with Edgar Ray Killen - and his suing the KKK - and lots of other things which he claims.

Luckily I didn't give him any money but he does owe us for the art services of the book we did for him called JAMES HART STERN Journey Through Mississippi Justice. There are multiple claims against this man on ripoffreport, and notices of fraud and disbelief of the lies he tells. We have notified Amazon and the Sheriffs department and sent them proof. He is not to be trusted with anything - and he no longer owns the rights to his book - which he never really owned anyway. He is a common felon and thief.
