If there is still a company located in Texas/Arkansas/New Mexico willing to do business with this guy they are crazy! This guy is the biggest crook I have ever met. He bounces from company to company selling them a bill of goods on how much "work" and money he can bring in because of his connections with large companies (EOG, Apache, Petrohawk to name a few). In reality, what happens is he's made side deals with the company men that work for these companies where they either get a monetary kickback or some other type of gain (expensive golf clubs, fancy trips, season tickets to sporting events) if they give him the work. Some company men even give him bid prices from other vendors just so they can make sure he gets the work. And then, the company man is happy...agrees that the work is completed (when it isn't) and James gets paid for work that was never done. If anyone out there wants proof of this scam, just call Anadarko Petroleum in Midland...they'll tell you how it all went down.
This is not even the tip of the iceburg. What about the falsified invoices, billing for equipment/personnel that aren't even working for him, stealing equipment from locations? The list goes on.
I'm guessing the owners of Stag Energy Services are either stupid or have been swindled by his scam also. Just wait till he starts staying at $400/night hotels (for "business", turning in ridiculous expense reports and charging for things that the company should never be responsible for (expensive family trips, hunting trips, payments for houses/trucks, etc.) But hey...guess this is the money keeps his wife in Gucci and Prada, right?
EOG, Petrohawk, Apache, Goodrich Petroleum, Marshfield Oil & Gas and whoever else that's involved with him now - don't you perform DUE DILIGENCE on your service companies???? Don't you have policies about your company men taking bribes???
Good luck, Stag Energy Services....see you when you hit the bottom with the rest of the people who have ever been tangled up with this guy.

The person that wrote the Ripoff Report concerning James Mann is obviously a complete idiot with no knowledge of the facts. Mr. Mann lost everything & the so-called consultants that were working for him got away with millions. The idiot that wrote the Ripoff Report should check their facts before hoc menacing with oral diarhea. They are obviously uneducated morons. Furthermore, this site should CFO some fact checking before allowing morons to post untrue stories.
