2007 hired James Spada for daughter's wedding photography, DVD, and album contract. Like all the other complaints have stated, asks for deposit and then full amount on wedding day. Other person was doing video, James did photos. 5 months after wedding, many emails, and threats of legal action, products were all finally received. He claimed bankruptcy, was out of town on business, and every other excuse.The most disappointing thing was I had met him when I worked for his wife's family, and then babysat for his child.That is how I happened to recommend him to my daughter. I should have asked more questions in 2002 when his wife told me they had a business that had "tanked". He was very personable, the photos were nice, the album was just like one you could do yourself at the drugstore. The DVD taken by the other worker is a treasure to look back on a wonderful day. It is a shame that we had to fight to get what we paid for months before. It is extremely scary to think you will not have concrete memories of that special day. Our whole family was upset by this fiasco. I cannot believe he is still contracting weddings and doing the same thing to other couples. I have learned a lesson.......check online before hiring anyone. He did this both before we hired him and continues to do it. People can change, but he did not.
