James Hanvik has one review on record. He is very deceptive. He informed me, as his client, that we had a case for civil action and without even doing the caselaw research to determine if we could prove damages as well as the validity of the contract in question, proceeded to draft a complaint. The complaint was very brief and generic in nature. It was done prematurely and prior to establishing the fact finders and it cost me several thousand dollars.

I was also concerned as to how he was maintaining the trust fund records. He hired an attorney who he asserted was a specialist in caselaw research and informed me that this attorney, Timothy Nipper, nipperlaw@yahoo.com, had also been disbarred and was an alcoholic. I ended up throwing approximately $8k down the toilet by hiring Jim Hanvik.

I would not use his services ever again and do not recommend him.
