Jamie Sardo, owner, Custom Windows of Florida Orlando Did not deliver product or perform work per contract Orlando FL Florida

My husband and I contracted with mr. Jamie Sardo, owner, Custom Windows of Florida Orlando to replace and install windows damaged by Hurricane Irma.  We paid  two payments by credit card and one personal check for a total of $13,523.   After many, many month of excuses, and to date, we have not received ONE windows nor has he performed the work under the terms of our contract with him.  My husband and I are both 79 years old and not well.  I am currently undergoing cancer treatment.  I asked my daughter, Leslie R, to help me with this as I was over-whelmed with Mr. Sardo's excuses.  I knew i could file a dispute claim with my credit card company, but I kept holding off to give Mr. Sardo time to fulfill the terms of our contract.  When HE told me to file a dispute, I knew we were in trouble.  I immediately did so sending them copy of the contract and all the emails between Mr. Sardo and myself.  I was given a "conditional" credit on my credit card.  It will not be made permanent until Mr. Sardo has an opportunity to respond to the credit card company.  He told me he would not respond. 

The other day I received a $3500 check from a Alside Window Company which I am not sure what it was for.  I ordered Andersen Windows and Alside does not make Andersen windows.  Alside made Mr. Sardo sign a statement that he would pay this amount to them by June 10, 2018. It appear that he bait and switched us.  I contacted the Highlands County Sheriff's Department to determine what I could do with the check.  I was told that I could deposit it into my bank account.  They are still investigating the case.  We have been contacted by another person who tracked us down on the internet regarding their treatment from Mr. Sardo....similar situation. 

This demonstrates a pattern of unworthy and dishonest business practices.  Mr. Sardo continues to defame my daughter because she is helping us, is highly intelligent, and can defend herself.  I refuse to engage in a war of words with Mrl. Sardo, but let me assure you he has awaken not one but two sleeping giants in Olivia and Donald Rowe.  He can google us to death and he will not find any adverse information that he can cloud the issue with...our life is an open book.  The issue is he defaulted on the contract and owes us a full refund.  The money he has in his pocket is ours.  So he continues to talk about our daughter instead of putting that energy to work to find a way to pay us the money he owes us.   He has not paid us one penny of his own money to put this issue to rest.  My husband said that my daughter is telling the truth....bottom line....he stole our money.....gave us NOTHING IN RETURN....i AGREE WITH HIM.  We are also persuing this issue through legal channels.
