I receive telephone calls from these deceptive predators once a week. In fact, some of the telephone calls are from the same person whom forgot that they called me a week earlier. As everyone is familiar with this multi-level marketing fraud, I receive the typical your resume came across my desk nonsense. Last Sunday night at 8:00 PM, I received a voicemail from a women out of Farmington Hills, Michigan whom pulled the same nonsense. This is the THIRD time I received a call from her. I told her in July that I was not interested in multi-level marketing.

In June 2011, I was duped into an interview under the guise that the interview was for a management in sales position. I drove to the Primerica location at 17177 North Laurel Park, in Livonia Michigan. The office looked like a front or temporary in nature. A young woman escorted me to a conference room and proceeded to show me a Primerica propaganda video with the customary
testimonials etc.  A moment later, a young man came into the room dressed in casual attire wearing a cheap black leather coat. At that moment, I had realized that I had been conned.  As soon as I stood up, the owner rushed in and asked me to come into his office. Then, he began to sell me on his on Primerica. He told me that he made $800,000 in 2011 and attempted to hand me an iPad highlighting the high-tech Primerica application. I declined and indicated that I am already familiar with the iPad, as I own two. I stated to him that I have an undergraduate degree in Business Law, an MBA and did not wish to be an independent contractor working for a multi-level marketing company. I left moments later.

Two weeks ago, I received a voicemail from a male whom did not leave his last name nor did he state the name of his company. Again, I received the customary your resume came across my desk nonsense. I called him back (voicemail) and sternly told him that he should leave his last name and the name of his company. He immediately called me back and stated that I was not right for the job anyway. Most of these individuals are not educated and fail to realize that a simply Google search using their name or telephone number will reveal a wealth of information including the myriad of complaints.  In fact, some of these clowns use different names, i.e., John instead of Jonathan, middle name instead of first, maiden name etc.

This brings me to Janet Marie Vieaux or Janet Stockwell.  At 11:30 AM, I received the same your resume came across my desk nonsense. Once again, no company introduction. My question
to anyone, what does it take to prevent these deceptive predators from hijacking our resumes?  I update my resume on Career Builder and Monster, and within an hour, I receive calls from likes of Janet Marie Vieaux, Janet Stockwell, or whatever she calls herself.  I have complained to CareerBuilder on many occasions and this garbage continues.  In sum, these predators are deceitful and are preying on the on the high number of unemployed candidates.
