This company totally ripped mr off. I bought a rebuilt engine from them for $2700 a year and a half ago. They sentthe engine andI had it installed by a mechanic. It did not work properly- the mechanic said it was because the engine was improperly rebuilt and of course the company said it was the mechanics fault and that they would send it back to me if I gave them another $450 to fix it and send it back to me.
I said no thanks becuase I didn't know who to trust at this point and asked for my money back. I would have understood if they deducted some shipping and resticking fees and maybe even if they chargedme for the damge my mechanic supposedly did to the engine. But they refused to send me any refund at all. And they put me on hold for hors and then would hang up on me when I would call to try to negotiate with them.
This company adversises in the yellow pages with a local phone number all over the country- I called them at an Albuquerque number but it somehow gets forwarded to them wherever they are, which is unclear since they have a post office box listed as their only address.
So BEWARE any ad in your local yellow pages for anything like japanese engines incc- they ripped me off big time, made me have no transportation for 6 months while all this went on, and treated me very badly when I tried to talk to them about it and finally refused to talk to me at all.
I have been unable to find a lawyer to take the case so far and I don't know if its worth the hassle of small claims court but I would really like to get back at this company for what they put me thru so if you have any ideas please let me know.
