We hired Jarrett Dooley of Emergent Design to do a website for our company. All was going well until we paid him. He then wanted no part of our company even though the process of designing & building the site was friendly,
We even paid him extra. He offered absolutely no customer support.
He also did not obey the support terms of the agreement & contract.
I.E. He was to show us how to make changes, how to access our files,
He was to put files on a disk so we would have them. Non of that took place.
After he was paid that was it, Jarrett Dooley changed.
His nice polite personality turned into an obvious irritable individual.
Fact: He lost our website file, after months of trying to get him to help us in a very bad situation he created, where we could not access or make any changes to our corporate site. Jarrett Dooley was not honorable to the terms of our contract.
Our contract called for all files to be available to our company, in order for us to make changes to our site. Very reasonable right???
Well Jarrett lost our file & treated us like trash, like we were bothering him to try to retrieve the file HE LOST. We finally were able to get him to help us & here is a sample of his customer service to us- a paying client.
Jarrett Dooley:
" Good luck, and I've got to tell you that I cannot devote any more of my free time helping to get things sorted out. Best of luck."
Funny how people are ruled by the dollar, once paid Jarrett Dooley of Emergent Design could care less.

Here are the details for this account:
Galaxy Guitar ("Customer") paid deposit. Emergent Designs ("Company") created a full flash site on main domain for customer, and three separate sites in addition. Company completed all customer requests for ALL sites in a timely fashion and once all requests were finished received final payment. Customer received the best deal in the state of Nevada, no web designer or firm would have taken this project for our contracted rate. AFTER contract was completed, customer wanted to add PayPal to site. Company researched and decided it was not in our best interest to do for free. Customer paid additional $100 for email blast templates, which were provided to customer with an explanation of how to administer the blasts and customize them.
This customer's main complaint came from a need to update their site. In our contract, it stated that all customer server-side log in information is held confidential and destroyed upon completion of contract and that we are not held liable for anything that happens to files or the site after we lose administrative rights. This is when the files went missing, and we did not delete them or lose them as we did not have access to the server-side of the site. To rebuke this claim, all contents of contract were met by Company. Even extra hours went into helping to recover the files missing, at no expense to customer. To be clear, nothing was LOST by Company, as customer was responsible for all files on THEIR server that Company had NO access to. Company will not dispute the email sent, as we worked an extensive amount of additional hours unpaid on this account. Glad to be done with this account, as we have learned we need to be more explicit in our review of contract (see EmergentDesigns.net Terms & Conditions).
