Yeah this guy Jason is a real piece of work. I guess you could say we were friends for a very short time. He was working on a website for me also. I work in the IT industry so I am always running across people that need webdesign work done. I also have a son who is the same age as his son and they became good friends very quickly. So between our kids hanging out together and I, being able to refer some clients to him (big mistake) we were able to work some things out to have him build my site (another big mistake)

I referred him to one of my customers and in the middle of the job Jason got thrown in jail for some drug related charge. I had the customer calling me asking if I had seen Jason, they had deadlines to meet and he had just disappeared. I had to be the one to tell them he was in jail.

The company I was working for at the time needed a website and I referred them to Jason. I think they gave him about $5,000 and the end result was we were left with a non-working website. When he disappeared (we didnt immediately find out he was in jail) and finally got out a month later, my boss had a meeting with him and he started crying to him, and ended talking him out of more money and more time to finish, which he never did. He was supposed to give us all the working files but he had done it in such a way that no other designer could edit what he had started. My boss was pretty cool about it to me but it was money better spent elsewhere,

Another friend of mine I referred him to gave him like $5,000 and they ended up getting in an argument, which I had to mediate, and then, just as the site was almost done they got in another argument, and I think Jason threatened to shoot him.

When you first meet Jason he seems nice enough. He can sound proffesional and appear to know what he is talking about. But when it comes down to it he can not complete a project. He shows you all these examples of his work. Some bits and pieces are actually pretty good but if you notice, there is nothing that is 100% complete. Everything he has done has some part of it that is under construction. And thats how it remains as he trys lying, cheating, even crying to his clients to convince them to give him more money for a project he still never does complete.
