I am an owner of a local mortgage lender called Magnifund Group with offices located in several locations throughout California, Arizona, Texas, and Washington. We are a banking platform that facilitates residential mortagage transactions and we were recently slandered on this website by an executive member of TriCastle Realty/San Cal Financial and Alliance Law Center. This group is a conglamorate of ex loan officers who could not make a living in mortgage and decided to create an organization to do Loan Modifications.
In the meantime, mortgage programs opened back up and they wanted to join forces with my organization so they could legally and compliantly originate government loans. We attempted to hire 3 different candidates that they presented as Branch Manager talented individuals, all of whom were declined as they could not pass a back ground check.
During the 3 month process of trying to make them a branch partner, they referred us loans that we handled from start to finish and funded the loans on behalf of the customers that were referred to us. The 3 loans were 2 FHA loans and 1 VA loan, deals San Cal Financial could not close because they do not have the appropriate license to do so.
Because they believed they should be compensated on these loans which is illegal and against HUD and RESPA laws, they are slandering my business. Because they could not secure proper lending licenses they originate loans and illegally receive compensation from several other mortgage lenders who apparently have no concern about playing by the rules. This company also bounced a $305 check to my company for reimbursement of some services we provided them with.
I would be cautious about using any of the firms associated with Jason Bernabei and his group... Buyers and borrowers beware!!

I am Chris McBrearty, former owner of Magni Fund Group located at 1 Civic Center Drive in San Marcos. While I am not privy to all the goings on between Jason Bernabei and Robert Ianniciello, my former business partner (also a former owner of MFG), I can tell you there is not and there never was anyone that owned any part of the company that had the initials or name "KP".
Because of this I implore you to disregard anything "KP" has to report on Jason. I hardly know Jason but I can tell you that if any of the statements "KP" made were true I would have known about them because these allegations are EXTREMELY serious.
Instead, it looks to me like a very sick HOAX written by a fool that had little regard about the potential impact such comments could cause.
Everything you read here written by "KP" is without merit, evidence and posted unawares of myself, Chris McBrearty former owner and CEO of Magni Fund Group.
