I received a call today at work from someone stating that they are calling from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and that there is a warrent for my arrest.  I asked why?  He stated that it was for a cash advance that was taken out back in August 2010 and hasn't been paid.  I asked from whom and they said Cash Connect.  I stated that I never took a loan out from them.  He said that it is all in my credit report and that if I do not pay settle the loan by this evening that I will be arrested on Friday morning at my place of employment. 

I was then transferred to someone by the name of Jason Gafey, who also told me the same information. He then stated if I fax a letter with payment that I would have to appear in Court on Friday.  He then preceded to give me fax numbers and to send the information to attention, Dexter Frogg.

I then started to investigate and ran my credit report which showed no outstanding cash advances to be paid.  I then googled cash connect network and found articles regarding the same situation that happened to me.

In the meantime, I received two more calls at work.  I explained that I hired a lawyer and that they can go ahead issue the warrant.  It sounded so fishy because I was now speaking to the "Senior Clerk at the Superiour Court House" and since I refused to pay, he yelled to someone; "she is refusing to pay so go ahead and issue the warrant."

I then told them that I will be waiting on Friday morning to be arrested.
