It seems the method of these scammers is to contact anyone they can in your family and not you directly. My brother received 2 calls, my father 1. I returned their calls where they insist I defaulted on a membership to Ballys Gym. I informed them I've never been to a Ballys EVER. I asked where this Ballys was and Mrs. Animashaun replied with "your town, your state" which truly was comical. I managed to get some information from her that the gym I supposedly joined was in PA in 2005. Well funny thing is, she had alllll my old addresses, from when I was even a teenager living at home, and yet at that moment could not give me my current address. I laughed and told her "sorry in 2005 I lived in NJ, nice try" even further proving to me that they are just out fishing for gullible people who will cower and send them money.

Here is some information for others to check out when they get called:

On 03/05/09 I was called from the law offices of Jason Head:

(757) 502-8065 was on the caller ID which is listed to:
Zach Ziemba
1309 Hawks Nest Way
Virginia Beach, VA 23451
and told to call back 888-279-5764 which was answered Jason Head.

On 03/10/2009 I was called from the law offices of JP Holt/Hold (message was quite garbled):

(757) 453-6440 was on the caller ID which is listed to:
Cash Quick Of Denbigh Pawn Shopwork
200 Golden Oak Ct
Virginia Beach, VA 23452

And also to

Jeff Booth Pcwork
200 Golden Oak Ct
Virginia Beach, VA 23452
and told to call back 888-279-5761 which was answered Jason Head.

So if they are legitimate, why do the numbers that appear on the caller ID come back as these other people and not the supposed Jason Head Law Office?

I've requested proof of the debt, they sent me some preformatted form that I'm sure they use on everyone and just change the information. I've requested an actual copy of this supposed contract I would have had to sign with my signature on it and was told by Mrs. Animashaun that if I have a lawyer to have them contact her cause she's been advised not to talk further to me.

I've filed a complaint with the FTC and am looking into filing some sort of complaint to the Virgina State Bar about this Jason Head and the shady collection agency he's working with.
