This scammer contacts you by text to purchase one of your items on craig's list or ebay and then informs that they will use paypal to send in extra if you use a particular shipping agent. The catch is they ask for your real name and other personal information. They then use a authentic looking fake paypal automatic site email to tell you that the amount (your sale and shipping charges) is credited to your account but on hold and can pe processed only when the shipping charges are sent via moneygram or check to "william henry davis". Contact real Paypal and they tell you there is no such provision. Cancelling the transaction or requesting use of othet carrier as fedex results in them sending you multiple harassing and threatening emails and texts on phone.

Do not give personal information to this scammer. They use multiple different emails and phone numbers so it is hard to find out as fake customer scammer. If you get a buyer who tells you that they will look for a moving/ shipping agent, first ask who that is, google it (this is a famous bunch of hardened criminal with numerous scams reported on internet). Inform them that you wish to be an annonymous seller and prefer using fedex for transfer.

If any harassing email/text received, just tell them that you have filed a police complaint about them (and that they have quite a record, and any further attempt from their part to contact you would result in filing harassment case as well. Which i did and they stopped.)

I repeat, these are hardened criminals to steal your personal information. Do not at any point give personal information and avoid contacting them.
