I went on-line looking for a smoking jacket for my husband for Christmas. I found the web-site named Jay Pratt's from a Google search. It was at the top of the search list. I clicked on Smoking Jackets and was redirected to Emperor's Elegancy's web-site. I ordered the jacket on 11/21 and recieved a confirmation and order number right away. The web-site said the estimated time of delivery for the jacket was one week. On 11/22 Emperor's Elegancy charged my credit card for $186.54. I thought my order had been shipped. But, when I didn't receive the jacket by 12/1, I got on-line again to find out a way to contact them. They have no phone number, only an e-mail address. I e-mailed them and inquired about the jacket. I never heard anything from them. Today, I went back on-line and e-mailed them again. Then I started scrolling down the google search site and found where someone had reported (on your site) the same thing happening to them a week earlier! I thought it was illegal to charge your account until merchandise had been shipped. The other report mentioned they threatend Emperor's Elegancy with fraud, so I immediately e-mailed them again to let them know if I did not hear anything, I would be contacting my lawyers and starting some legal action concerning internet fraud.
