Why Does the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce Deal with a Lowlife Con Man Like Jay Servidio of Teleteria?
Many observers wonder why the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce allows Jay Servidio's Teleteria Inc. to be a member. After all, the chamber is a respected organization while Teleteria is a shoestring scam operation where innocent newbies are cheated out of their money by the bloated mother of all liars--Jay Servido--who continues to commit fraud with his worthless, overpriced turnkey Web sites. We at Teleteria.info decided to find out. We sent a letter to Mark Jaffe, chamber director, which is reproduced, in part, below:
Dear Mr. Jaffe:
Your chamber membership list includes Teleteria Inc., operated by notorious Internet scammer Jay Servidio. Online chat rooms are filled with complaints about Mr. Servidio's Web fraud. To get idea of Mr. Servidio's corrupt business practices, search ?Teleteria? at BadBusinessBureau.com, Teleteria.info, Scam.com, BoardTracker.com, and CozyCampus.com, to name a few.
In his latest scam, Mr. Servidio is peddling his fraudulent adult turnkey Web sites as a work-at-home scheme. He claims to offer ?an opportunity to own a business and work from home.? In another fraud, he alleges that he can assist his victims in ?owning your own? online casino. Mr. Servidio's other fraudulent operations involve turnkey adult Web sites. After spending thousands of dollars on a Teleteria site, the victim learns that the site is worthless. As a consummate con artist, Mr. Servidio then refuses to return his victim's money and, further, will not allow the victim to retain the site and design work that he already paid for, as promised by Teleteria.
Mr. Servidio's latest caper has a new wrinkle. Instead of simply cheating his victims out of money, his online casino fraud leaves the victim open to possible prosecution by federal authorities. Federal prosecutors are cracking down on Internet gambling, according to an article in the Wall Street Journal. Teleteria's contract states that Teleteria is held harmless ?from any and all fines, penalties, losses, claims, or other liabilities?? It sounds like Mr. Servidio will defraud his prey as usual, and the victim will be left holding the bag by the federal prosecutor for running an illegal gambling operation. A clever crook always like Mr. Servidio always covers his tracks.
I strongly recommend that the chamber's attorneys review this situation with an eye towards deleting Teleteria from your membership. Otherwise, you risk aiding and abetting Mr. Servidio's fraudulent activities and violating federal antigambling statutes. According to your Web site, the chamber is an approved New York State Not For Profit, affiliated with the Official Chamber of Commerce Association, and operates under Rule 501 ? 6, as an Exempt Organization of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
I'm sure that you don't want to jeopardize this status by aiding and abetting a corrupt operation like Teleteria Inc. If you refuse to delist Teleteria, we will file complaints with appropriate federal and state authorities challenging the chamber's legal status. Please advise if you have questions
?PS--This is an open letter than will be posted on Web sites.?

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!
