Jayco RV Poor design, poor build quality, indifferent customer service Middlebury Indiana

On Sept 2nd of 2014, I purchased a new 2015 Jayco seismic 3912 that had a price in excess of $80,000. Since the purchase date, the dealer(who has been wonderful and very understanding) worked in the unit for approx 2 weeks trying to correct the damage, design flaws, poor workmanship, and numerous fit and finish problems. After that I spent another week trying to fix the rest of the apparent problems. I have been in contact with Jayco at least 4 times, both by phone and e-mail, with the dealer having contacted them more than that. My only response so far was from their customer representative who's one word answer was "sorry".

The way the unit is built, parts of the interior are unusable, the slides leak air and water, and parts of the woodwork have cracked and some have even fell off. Besides the poor quality of the parts of the unit that can be seen, my  biggest concern is the parts that can't be seen. Like the infrastructure, electrical system, plumbing, propane lines, and all the other mechanical systems in the unit. I feel Jayco should reimburse me for the cost of the unit, my time, my expenses, and the cost of the delivery of the unit. At this point, I am still waiting for parts to make the unit at least somewhat liveable and for some kind of adequete response from Jayco. In any case, I am afraid to keep it and certainly afraid to let my family stay in it.
