Our firm decided to try a new type of advertisement with a company called Jayde Online also going under Exact Seek.

We were thinking of going with maybe $500.00 a month, thank-god one of our marketing experts said to go slowly and try them out.

Just two months ago we were looking into online advertisement to see which company was going good for us, and we noticed that our so called "advertisement" was not online.

Our firm decided to contact the company of several of occasions by e-mail and nothing was returned... just this week they took some money from one of our paypal.com account... Our legal departement called paypal and they said they could not reverse the amount but told us they cannot take amounts anymore.

never once did Jayde Online also known as ExactSeek.com contact us regarding this issue....

BE WARE OF CHEAP ADVERTISEMENT THAT CLAIM THEY CAN PRODUCE SALES......

AUTHOR: Exactseek Support Manager - (Canada)

POSTED: Thursday, October 09, 2008

Our service is a low cost keyword based advertising system that displays ads on ExactSeek.com and 100's of other smaller search engines and directories in the ISEDN network. The complainant first purchased ads on 2007-03-01 and the fact that the purchase was a Paypal subscription and would be automatically renewed
unless cancelled was mentioned on our order page as well as on the PayPal payment form and in the payment confirmation email sent by PayPal to the customer. This same email also informed the customer that they could cancel their subscription at any time through their PayPal account.

The complainant's claim that their ads were not active is false, as we have clicks on their ads for every week from the time of purchase to when they were cancelled. In total their ads received 1,193 clicks, which is reasonable considering our ad program costs only $12 per ad for a 3 month term.

Our dedicated support address for paid orders is listed on PayPal as well as our contact page, and any email sent to that address will be responded to within 24 hours. Except for the email sent Oct. 2nd 2008 at 7:49 pm CDT, we cannot locate any additional emails sent to that store@exactseek.com address, or any other of our addresses, from this customer. It should also be noted that the email the customer sent had no subject line.

On Oct. 3rd at 9:26 am CDT we responded via email and provided the customer with the total number of clicks they had received, and cancelled and refunded their most recent renewal through PayPal.

Our company will ALWAYS refund any renewal within a reasonable amount of time, if we are contacted by a customer wanting to end their subscription. In this case the customer's order renewed 6 times before they contacted us the day of their last renewal. Additionally if a customer feels that they have failed in being able to reach us, they can always cancel their subscription through PayPal and request a refund through them. While we cannot speak directly about what the customer claims that PayPal told their "Legal Department", the customer can always make a claim against a transaction made in the previous 60 days, simply by logging into their PayPal account and requesting it.
