JB Hunt Trasport truck was hit while i was in store. company put it on DAC report as preventable accident. lowell Arkansas

I woke up and did my vehicle inspection and started driving. I stoped at a plaza on the tollroad  for coffee.

I was away from truck for about 7-10 mins and came out and left. I left and proceed driving. I noticed my right sided turn signal was blinking fast. i figued a blown out bulb. I stoped at truck stop and while fueling, i walked around truck and found damage to the right side hood.

I called the company and they asked me mostly unrelivent question. I told them were i stoped at and i didnt see who hit the truck. They took the report and called me later on and said they didnt want this on there record and mine.

I asked him what he meant. He basicly gave me the run around and said it would have to be on my recoed or there's. He said it have to be a perventable on my record.

I responded and said i was in store i can not be at fault nor prevent it. basicly i left the truck unattended to long and didnt see the accident. how can a driver be resposable for some one else mistake when driver not there.
