JBC Legal Group - Firestone ripoff Bloomfield New Jersey

In 1995 I had Firestone replace a transmission in my little Dodge Charger. It was in the shop a week and when returned to me I paid them in full but the car stopped running in three days. I found they hadn't fixed the car at all.

When I picked up the car they supposedly fixed a second time, it was totally out of gas and the man demanded a post dated check. He said he would have to hold the check so the manager would call me the following monday to confirm whether he would need a check or not.

I immediately cancelled and stopped payment on the check . I pawned the car off because I had no money after giving it to Firestone. It was better than nothing and I needed a car.

I was out of a job and they knew I did not have any more money.

I needed the few hundered dollars and it was better than having to fight them for a new transmission a third time.

There was no correspondence from Firestone or any legal firms until 2004 9 years later. They have been threatening me and now the debt has gone from $200 some dollars to $749.00?

These people are crazy! Please don't tell them your phone number or any information about your life. They will take you for what they think they can intimidate you for!
