Work, started and completed in Jan 2016 on polebarn/shop. was told by Neal McGuffy work was completed, and expected final payment.  In walkround, l pointed out unfinished and exposed rafters. Neal told me he would return in a week to complete the work.  Later l discovered roof leaking where builders patched steel roof with a series of screws in crack, in two different places, and discovered the trim was installed backasswards, pulling rainwater in, instead of shedding it out.  Repeated calls to Neal McGuffy, he stated "i am out of town for a few months, when l get back l will fix it." "l have a broken ankle, but l will send my son over tomorrow" "I will be there tomoorow, l promise". No show.  Repeated phone calls to Contractor James Carver l get similar lies: "l will be there tomorrow" "l will send Chester or Billy to look at it".  Then he accusses me of improper construction.  "l know Neal is a 17 year veteran barn builder, and l know he knows how to put on trim. Do you know more than he does??" 

Well, l guess l do, because every rain, and morning dew, the untreated wood gets wet.   And after countless promises, neither  Neal nor James Carver have returned once.   All l get from these liars are empty promises.
