I purchased a 2002 Ford Focus for $9,925.00. I knew that the car was overpriced with a blue book value of only 5865.00, but decided to purchase the vehicle, The next day after purchase I noticed that my brakes were not stopping correctly, I took the vehicle back but was told that the brakes were not under warranty. They said that they could repair the brakes, but I would have to pay for the repair. I advised them that I would take it to my regular maintance person. also advised that my battery was corroded. This is when the trouble started.

I put $300.00 Downpayment with $300 bi weekly payments for 6 weeks to make the downpayment of $1200.00 dollars. These payments were always made a day before the due day. on 8/21/09 authomatic payments were to drafted from my banking account. They had made copies of my debit card and I had signed the papers.    

When my payment was due, I received a call on Saturday advising that I had missed the payment. I advised that they had the infomation on file, Shaun the employee, stated that it had not been done and charged me a extra four dollars. The next two weeks I received the same call, instead of paying the extra fee, I took the money in. The next two weeks the same thing happened and I took the money in and retrieved my bank information. Now again its been two weeks I took my payment in prior to the due date for tomorrow. and was told that someone wanted to speak with me. I was told that my payment was late three times and there was not a grace period. yet that had just accepted a payment. And it was there company that failed to withdraw the money from my account as agreed to. All payments have been made, but I do not know if I will have a car in the morning or not. This company is very dishonest. The vehicle was very overpriced. they do not want to honor their warranty. Its appears that its their mission to harrass, intimidate and misrepresent the transactions that you make in order to either force you to pay them for repairs or repo your car. Harrassment is not legal, nor misrepresentation of facts. (fraud), nor intimidation.

something needs to be done about their business practices. I will go to the legal limits to make sure that this does not happen to another consumer. I have the ability to make my payment and repairs, but they prey on the poor and disabled and in my case seniors, instead of helping your credit they want to harm you so that you can not go anywhere else but to them.
