J.D. Byrider In a year , my car has been towed at least 6 times. All going back to whoever previously owned the car that wired a stereo system into my brake wires and it eventually caused a lot of problems . St. Clairsville Ohio

Blue Book value on my 95 Monte Carlo is only $4500.00 and my payoff is $15,000.00. I understand I don't have perfect credit , but 25% interest is astronomical ! I have had numerous problems with the 1st car I purchased from JD Byrider , which was a Sebring. JUNK from test drive .

When I asked if the problem of it stalling when I stopped at the stop sign while testing it could be fixed , they said yes. In the garage it went .

Came back with the same problem , 2 or 3 more times , I cannot recall . I told them they could have it back and I then chose the Monte I have now . The main problem with the way they sell their cars is they don't run them before purchasing these vehicles at auctions at a low price . They are parked on the lot with the so-called warranty that is included , for a mandatory $1000.00.

I have exceded that on my cars , I am sure ! The Monte was previously owned by someone who knew nothing about wiring stereos and wired the connector and the ground into my brake wires !!!! Therefore , I have been having crazy electrical problems since and they are trying to blame me for putting the stereo in and it came in the car when I had purchased it !

I had the car put back in the shop 3 times for this problem and nobody could find anything ! My brake light , abs , and low track lights kept coming on and off and then the service engine light was coming on frequently . My lights were going dim , my air conditioner was never cold and my heat not hot , just warm .

When replacing the fuse for the brake lights , the fuse would pop as soon as the brake was touched . Needless to say , it finally caught fire under my dash inside from the fusebox to the drivers side down to the brake pedal and 12 inches up the wires burned in seconds !!!!
Tow truck , please !! They towed it to the main office in Dover ,Ohio where the owner rewired it and replaced a stereo that I did not want or need , not that I don't appreciate the thought , but I am sure I will be charged for it . I get my car back tomorrow with a hefty bill , I am sure .

Buyers beware ! Note that when you make a payment , most of your money goes toward the principle , not the car itself ! I wanted to pay mine off early , but they said the interest is going to still be the same regardless ! How is that possible ? This is the first and last purchase from a car lot , definately .

I have learned alot about cars in the last 1 1/2 years ! Good luck to anyone buying a car from them . The MAIN problem with this particular JD Byrider is their garages where they send their cars............they also need to be reported because it scares me that they are even aloud to work on cars with what I have seen !!!
