JD Marvel Products Catalogue cashed cheque within 3 days, but no merchandise sent in return Hawkesbury Ontario

On Mar. 11/03 I sent a cheque to JD Marvel Products in the amount of $43.8 to pay for a portable sewing machine advertised in their catalogue which was received at my home shortly before that date. This amount was made up of $29.95, plus taxes and Shipping/Handling charges. On Mar. 14th JD Marvel Products cashed my cheque (I have the cheque with their stamp on the back, which has gone through my account), but to date no sewing machine. The day before yesterday, Apr. 23/03, I went into the Internet to see if they had a web site or an E-Mail address to which I could direct an enquiry as to how much longer I should expect to wait for the merchandise, and to my horror discovered the "Ripoff" pages naming them in several different locations, and there was a mention of some 700 "ripoffs" for which they were responsible! Yesterday, Apr. 24/03, I sent to them a letter advising them that if I received neither the machine nor full repayment of the $43.58 by no later than Apr. 30th, I would simply report this matter to the O.P.P. Fraud Squad and let them handle the matter for me. Since it took them only 3 days to respond to my cheque by presenting it for deposit at their bank, I am assuming they will be able to respond to my request for shipment for the merchandise or a refund of my payment in full with all due alacrity.
