I bought a transmission from JDM Engine Depot on sep 12/2014 for sum of $750. After installing the trans, the trans was not working.
I bought genuine honda oil for that trans. I called them and explained the nature of the problem. This guy name mike told me to change the solenoids from my bad trans to the one i purchased from them.
I told him i am not touching that trans because i have warranty on it. It was late in the day; they were about to close.
I called them back the next day to speak to mike and mike was no where to be found. Mike was either on the phone, in the warehouse, or mike was done for the day.
The gave me the runs around. I got so mad at them on the phone, so they let me speak to Willie Ubillus ( A liar and also a crook) supposedly to be the GM of that business. I told him the trans i got from you guys is no good, it's noisy, it's not shifting.
Willie Ubillus told me to bring it back. I did just that. When i brought it back on Sep 29/2014, Willie claimed i didn't get the trans from them. He said the trans i brought back to them is from Canada.
I called the cops and made a report. I was told to call them to small claims court, which i did. I had court on 10/31/14. I explained to the court from A to Z. I did not lie. i told the judge I bought the trans from them and it was the only trans that i purchased.
He sat in court lieing his lungs out telling the judge i brought him back a trans from Canada and the judge ruled in favor of him. He stole my money. I showed my receipt and all. I even brought my bad trans in court with me, so they didnt think i brought them the bad one. The judge didn't care about that They wrote down a different ID# on the invoice.
I swear. I did not bring back no other trans, but the one i purchased from them. I had to buy another trans yesterday in Morganville New Jersey. I bought it from H&H on Texas rd in Jersey.
I thought when someone is under oath, you can only speak out the truth, it is pathetic how the judge fell for the lies. I apologies for what i am about to say. I think it's becauce i am Black. I have to say it. I feel like i have been accused and abused. The injustice is still alive.
I did not bring them no other trans, but the one i bought from them. I swear to that.

#1 UPDATE Employee ..inside information
Even the judge saw that something was wrong item they were trying to return

I'd like to start off by saying, our products have a warranty. If there is a problem with an engine or transmission, we will be more than happy to exchange it if it is still within the warranty time. You must have a certified mechanic install the item and have the work order from the mechanic stating what the problem was with the item. These documents are to be presented for the exchange.
Mike explained to the customer to change the soleniods due to them at times not being compatible with the U.S. chassis. Had the customer bothered to read the reverse side of the invoice pertaining to the warranty, he would have known that changing the solenoids does not void your warranty. You purchase an engine and/or transmission complete, with sensors and external accessories. Keep in mind that the external sensors or accessories may or may not work on the American chassis. This is why we advise customers to use all external sensors and accessories from their old transmission and/or engines.
Keep in mind this is a business and it is run both internally and externally. All representatives and management at times may have to step out to run errands, go for deliveries, etc. They are not always here during normal business hours. DO NOT think that if a person is not here when you call in, it is due to us wanting to give you the run around. It may simply just be that they are NOT available.
If Will was a crook and a liar, he wouldn't have agreed to have taken back the transmission. You were told to bring the transmission in for a replacement. When you brought in the transmission, there was a VIN tag on it. Immediately looking at that, it's a dead giveaway that transmission was NOT imported from Japan. Once again, the Japanese imported transmission does NOT come with a VIN tag as do any of the other Japanese imported engines and transmissions. The VIN number on that transmission even began with a number 2, which comes down to it being a Canadian built transmission. Once again, we do NOT import anything from any other country other than Japan. It was proven beyond a shadow of a doubt in court that transmission was not ours. Documentation through a website, which was free, showed that the transmission was Canadian built.
Customer is stating that "we wrote down a different ID# on the invoice." How is it possible for us tamper with the customer's invoice?
I'm sorry but what does race or ethnicity have to do with a decision from a judge? I highly doubt that a judge will base his final verdict on race or ethnicity. That statement is just ignorant. And just to let you on a bit of information,
In conclusion, JDM Engine Depot proved beyond reasonable doubt that the transmission brought back by the customer did not originally belong to JDM Engine Depot. This was proven through pictures and documentation.
