Jeff Adams Jeff Adams Publishing, REO Riches, Foreclosure Profit System Jeff Adams' Offer for a "Free" Foreclosure Profits System Book Is A Scam To Get People's Credit Card Information By Paying $5.97 Shipping and Requiring Them to Sign Up For a "Free" Trial to a $97 Internet

My experience with Jeff Adams started when I received an email from Kristi Adams, (Jeffs wife) to sign up for a free webinar that was supposed to provide information about investing in foreclosures. Immediately after signing up for the free webinar, I was forwarded to a page that had a video interview of Donald Trump talking about how now is the time to get great deals from banks on foreclosed real estate and then there was an offer to get a book by Jeff Adams for free, all I had to pay was a small shipping and handling charge of $5.97. So, I clicked on the link and that took me to a page with a video of Jeff Adams talking, saying that he only had 1000 copies of his book Foreclosure Profit System and he was giving them away while supplies lasted, all we had to pay was $5.97 for shipping and handling. I thought it sounded like an ok deal, so I clicked the link and was taken to an order page that required me to sign up for a monthly membership to some service that I did not want, and it stated that I would also receive an REO Riches Investing Blueprint worth $197, an REO Riches Investing DVD worth $149, and a Bonus DVD worth $149. Although I really only wanted the book, there was no option to not receive the additional stuff. I assumed it would be easy enough to cancel the monthly service before I was billed, if it was not worth the $97 and so I submitted my order.           

So, a couple of weeks past and I did receive a package from Adams Publishing. Inside that package was a glossy sheet of paper that they called the REO Riches Investing Blueprint, which frankly was not worth the paper it was printed on, much less the advertised value of $197. Also in the package was one DVD, (not two DVDs as advertised, but one) that they called Jeff Adams REO Riches Blueprints DVD Set, which was nothing more than Jeff Adams standing in front of a camera giving a bad sales pitch for his coaching program. There was absolutely nothing of any value in the DVD, although its advertised value was $149. That was it. There was not a book, which was really the only thing that I wanted, and there was only one DVD instead of two (I really did not care that much about the extra DVD, but it was just another thing that was promised that was not delivered). In addition, there was not any information regarding the monthly membership service. I started trying to call the number that I had for Jeff Adams Publishing to find out what I needed to do to cancel the monthly service before I was charged and all I could get was voice mail. Nobody would answer at any extension that I tried. I kept calling them during regular business hours and leaving voice mails on every extension that I could, but still none of my messages were returned and the "free" trial was not canceled. Once the month trial period was over they charged me $97.00. Knowing that they had not delivered on any of the items that they had promised, I continued to try to call them to correct the error.            

After several weeks of diligently calling them, I did finally get in touch with a person at Jeff Adams Publishing. His name was "Robert" and he was actually very rude and condescending. He basically argued with me over every problem that I had with my order and he attempted to make it all seem like it was my fault. He made it clear that he believed that they had delivered a quality product, in spite of all the problems I had with my order and that they were not going to do anything for me. He explained that there was some great value in the material that I received, (which I found to be garbage) and he would not send me the book that was promised in the advertisement. He also would not refund the $97 charge, because he said that I should not have had such a problem getting in touch with them to cancel, because they were open 9AM-5PM, 5 days a week. They may be there during those times, but I can tell you for sure that they do not answer their phone and they do not return voice mails.  

I believe that the marketing practice that Jeff Adams Publishing is using is unethical and it is such a tricky little tactic that it should probably be illegal. They offer free information using ridiculously inflated values, leading people to believe that they are getting hundreds of dollars worth of free stuff for a small fee of shipping and handling, so that they can get peoples credit card numbers and charge them ridiculous amounts for monthly services that they dont even deliver on. On top of all that, they make it nearly impossible to cancel the service once you figure out that it is all a big scam.  

I hope that no one else falls victim to Jeff Adams and his crooked marketing practices. I have purchased many real estate investing courses, some better than others, but what Jeff Adams is selling is garbage. Please look into companies before buying any courses. There are much better products out there. Jeff Adams is a crook!
