Jeff L. Pierce I would never recommend this person for anything Plano Texas

I hired Pierce to represent a client charged with a felony and misdemeanor.  Pierce was informed at first meeting the client had numerous priors.  Pierce recommended a Diversion Program.  Upon appearing in court Pierce asked the court to place his client into the Diversion Program.  The District Attorney quickly and without hesitation told Pirce the client was not eligible for the Diversion Program because the client had numerous priors.  Pierce was informed of these priors at first meeting with client.  No one with any priors or even police contact is eligible for the Diversion Program. Any knowledgable Attorney practicing law in Plano/Collin County for many years as Pierce indicated he had should have known this or at least researched it when performing basic due diligence.  Pierce told the client and the clients mother they would just have to let it play out.  Thats unacceptable when one is charged with a Felony.  A Texas BAR complaint was filed but the outcome was what you would expext from a group protecting their own...useless and waste of time.  Probably just another sweep under the rug as usual. I fired Pierce and asked for a full refund.  Pierce offered 1,000 of the 8,500 I paid in advance. 

I worked with many U.S. Attorneys in my career and I have never seen an Attorney perform in such an unprofessional manner in my life.

As a retired Federal Law Enforcement Officer I could not recommend Pierce for anything much less defending anyone in a court of law.
