Robert, (Husband) received letter saying we owed $7,345.00 on an account called,'Infibank, Onecard opened in 1994 to 2004. We have never had an account like this. We actually filed bankruptcy in 1996 and all accounts were forgiven, this was never an account of ours. Then they offer a credit card called a New Emblem credit card under a program called Fresh start Solution Program! "When you agree to participate in the Program and are approved, the Program Balance of $7,345.00 will be transferred to a new Emblem account. Until you qualify, your new account will be serviced by Jefferson Capital. An Emblem MasterCard credit card will be issed once you have paid the Total Payment(s) to Qualify of $1836.

You have 12 months to pay this amount and to qualify for your card. If you agree to participate, but fail to make your first minimum monthly payment of $153.00 on your new account, your new account will be cancelled and your Infibank debt will be returned to Crown Asset Management, LLC. If you choose not to participate in the Program your account will be returned to Crown Asset Management, LLC.

Supposedly, Emblem Master Card credit cards are issued by Monterey County Bank, Monterey, Ca. (MCB)
When my husband called the sender of this letter he was threatened with a lawsuit when he denied having an account with this company. I have googled the company name and found we are not the only ones to receive this type letter.
