Jefferson Place Westdale Management Un-Trustworthy, Roach and Rat infested, Rude community in the heart of Las Colinas (Irving Tx) BEWARE Irving, Texas

I'd like to have your attention to the growing issues surrounding Jefferson Place apartments in Irving, the lack of
professionalism and customer service, to the poor living conditions and up-keep, the growing pest problems, and all the way up to the Corporate Office.

I have lived at Jefferson Place for 11 months, and I had to break my lease and get out. The constant issues with the water has been taking place for years and the issue is still not resolved. The pest and rodent problems have increased, and though the lease states that the company will treat the problem, they do not, in fact you are charged when they schedule an appointment and if you dare try not to be there or give them access to your unit you will be charged. This is harassment at best. The appts should be scheduled with the consent of the tenant to avoid any hassles.

 Heather at the office has incredible rude, insensitive and lacks customer service skills.
I was harassed as soon as I gave notice of my intent to vacate. With my son having leukemia she lacked so much compassion it was unreal. I had to leave and I am 100% sure that not only has the company kept my double deposit but I am sure they would have charged me other things to add to the insult. I documented everything on the move-in list and have NOT recieved a final invoice verifying all charges. (This I requested 2 times).

I called Westdale's Corp office downtown Dallas, and asked to speak with Joseph Beard as well as have my legal council contact him. We left a message and again the lack of concern continued on when a call had never been returned.

We called again and got an incredibly rude and lying receptionist on the phone who didn't take my concern seriously. In fact she would hang up on me time and time again when I called.

I called again and asked to speak to the District / Regional Director or Supervisor and got an Administrative Assistant who was "playing manager". She has no authority to provide legal advice on behalf of Westdale. My attorney graciously kept warning her that she shouldn't continue on representing Westdale in such a fashion because it would cause more issues than she'd be able to handle.

We went as far as to call another location and ask questions, when we found out that the person who we needed to speak with was not who the receptionist transferred to. This is very insensitive, unprofessional and insulting.

I work for a private equity firm in Dallas and NO ONE is ever treated in such a fashion. Access to the President of my company is always obtainable in fact he will return calls and emails directly. If anyone called our Corporate Office and asked for him, they are immediately transferred to his office, in which he answers the call and immediately handles the situations.

 Westdale Management has failed us and it is a shame.

I know in requesting to speak with Joseph (Joe) Beard will be overlooked and will not ever be granted but I'd just like for this company (President, CEO, Board Members and all) to know how tenants are treated and how their staff onsite and off treat people in the community.

You must remember it is the tenants that keep you where you are and the more unhappy they are, the more the word gets out and eventually you will see the effects.

FYI.... I left that place paying a little over 850.00 to a place where I pay 1285.00 and I'd rather pay more than be treated the way I was.
