Jeffrey Bomzer Paperhanging Unlimited, Inc. Double charges, changes deal, ripoff Syosset New York

Jeffrey was contracted in June 2012 to "remove wall unit, storage for 24 months, and deliver back to lanlord, plaster and paint wall" for $2,000.00. This was paid in full and in writing,

In October of 2015, our landlord informed us that Jeffery never delivered back the wall unit to the landlord. 

When my wife called Jeffrey, he said he was never contracted to deliver the wall unit and that it had been our responsibility to pick it up. He also said that it was our responsibility to inform Jeffrey that we intended to pick it up and since we had not, in order to do so we had to pay $75.00 per month past the 24 months equalling an extra $1,200.00 in storage fees. He refused to show my wife the invoice he was allegedly reading, indicating that this was the case.

I found the original invoice in my office and it was clear as quoted above. When I contacted Jeffrey and showed him the invoice, he agreed to deliver only if i paid the $1,200 in storage fees first and would not hear that he failed to deliver it in the 24 months as contracted. 

In order to get the ransomed wall unit, I paid the $1,200.00 (without prejudice) and  he delivered the wall unit to the landlord, charging him an extra $100.00 to take it to a different location than originally specified. 

When Jeffery did Home Improvements for me back in 2012, although they were adequately done, when reviewing his final invoice, he double billed all over the place and had a contentious, difficult attitude in resolving the final bill. 

Suggestion to anyone attempting to use this service: Make sure you have a complete comprehensive and in-writing bill before any work is done and be prepared to litigate when he holds you up for more money after contracting is cleared. This man and this company is not honest and a major ripoff.
