I was contacted by Jeffrey Heart DJ's to fill in as a DJ for an event he had booked in Mid September. It was last minute, but figured everything was on the up & up. I completed the job. Submitted an invoice, in which I was told a check would me sent out the next day. A week later I called and he said his "accountant" was taking care of it and was going out the next day. Another week later I called and he said he would personally drive it down to me that week. When he was supposed to meet he called and cancelled, and then tried to bring the rate down that he owed me. In that time I found out that he had done the same thing to 9 other sub-contracted DJ's. Because he did this so often to so many individuals it shows he never intended to pay, even though he received payment for the jobs. With intent to not pay he proves theft of services and breach of contract. It has been 2 months and too many phone calls later. It is obvious he is a scam artist.

I have made numerous attempts to collect my debt in a civil manner, but he keeps making up lies. His word means nothing. You can google his name and see how many irate customers he has from the past and how poorly he runs his business. He is a scam artist.
