On Labor Day I got a call from a man claimimg to work for Publishers Clearing House. He had a
strong accent and the call came from Jamaca. I was skeptical at first but he sounded legit. He said
I had won the 2.5 million giveaway. of course I got excited! He went on congratulating me and said they
would bring my prize to me later in the day but first I had to go to the nearest walgreens and purchase
a $200.00 green dot card to verify who I was and for the IRS(this money he said would be reembersed
to me). I went along with it and drove 25 miles to walgreens and purchased it, i called him back as instructed
then he said there was paperwork to be done but they would be at my house later that same day. Needles to
say he kept in contact through out the day and our day was shot waiting around. Later in the evening he
says the time caught up with him and he would call in the morning and keep us informed , He said the
prize was mine and no worries. He asked our address and told us that they would deliver my prize sometime
in the morning after talkig to me. By then My wife and I had contacted the PCH fraud hotline and reported
this guy. I'm not sure what his angle is but he is very persistant! Please catch this guy! He brings up hopes
of people and takes the little money they have! He does call with different numbers. Be Ware!!!

Jeffery Morgan is back at it. For the last year and a half he has been scaming my mother in law. I think, with showing her this site I have convinced her that it is truely a scam. Please please be careful, he has gotten hundreds from an old lady that has no computer skills or anything. Why has he not bee caught yet???

A foreigner with a random number from Jamica, of all places, calls you, claiming to be with PCH and you found that legit? And you were asked to send money via greendot paks, which makes it non-traceable and is the same as you handing over cash. And still, that seemed legit to you? Unreal. You can kiss your $ goodbye, you will NEVER see any of it again. Future-going: when random strangers contact you, whether it is via phone, mail, whatever, and ask you for money, it is a scam. If someone tells you that you have won something but must pay $$ upfront to claim it, it is a scam.

My parents got the same call but they did not fall for this scam. If you see a 876 area codeon your caller ID its a scammer calling you. You are right he does call with different #s but if he call again answer the phone but give a fake credit card # to him. This scammer is the same person who called my home but when he calls my family does not anwer the phone. My my parents blocked his#
