Hello my name is Robert Lewis I purchased a puppy from Eckart Salquist of jenecks.com. To make a long story short my Jenecks puppy developed hip displaysia in both hips at 7 months.
My pups name was Jenecks Ienoe.aka Demo. Demo showed signs of hip displayia in the middle of show ring at the Southeastern PA Rottweiler Klub 6-9 Month Male Class and yes he came in last.
Demo could barely make it round the ring, he was in so payne Im surprised we didn't get disqualified.
I told Eckart Salquist of jenecks.com he told me doesn't guarantee any any of his dogs or pups.
So i took Demo to the vet and yes he had hip displaysia.One hip ball was rounded funny shape and the other was sitting half way in the socket.
I called Eckart Salquist of jenecks.com and he told me Im basically s**t out luck, and that dog probably fell on some ice since i live in icy Ohio and dont worry he will get better in 6 months.
I was shocked i paid 2500 plus shipping for Demo. With his hips being so bad it was no way he could be a schutzhund dog.
So i decided to ship the dog to him so he could take a look at him. Eckart got Demo x rayed and he admitted the pup had bad hips at 7 months old.
Eckart said im keeping the dog and im s**t out of luck once again. Eckart is the president of the ARV and doesn't guarantee his own dogs WOW.

I am responding to Robert **** due to his great distortion of the truth. I have been breeding Rotts for 40 yrs and have bred some of the top Rotts in the world. Having said that not every dog I have bred has turn out to be a show stopper. I also make this clear to everyone who buys a dog from me. After Robert received the dog he called me multiple times telling me how happy he was with the puppy.
I received a phone call one day from a friend that said he was at a show and seen a dog I bred owned by Robert ****, he said the dog was large for age with big bone but very under weight and in very Poor condition. About 2 wks later I got a call from **** he said he was at a show and didnt do very well and had his dog X-rayed and showed some looseness . I told him thou not desirable this will usually improve as he gets though his growing stage.
I told **** if the dog was unable to work after he matured I would work something out with him. Lewis was agreeable to this. About 3wks later I came home and was going through my phone messages and there was a call from Delta airline cargo and they said there was dog there for me from Robert ****. **** shipped the dog back to me with out calling me he sent this dog back with out even knowing if I was even in town to pick the dog up!
When I got to Delta cargo I took the dog out of the crate and everyone was shocked at the poor condition of the dog. The Delta agents said they were going to file a complaint of animal neglect against Robert **** .
I got "Ben" Roberts dog back in condition and placed him in a great home ."Ben" has now earned a Bh and Competed an AD 12 mile endurance test.
